Maharaja Surajmal Brij University is a state university located in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. Formerly, this university’s name was Brij University. The motto of this college is “Knowledge is the greatest eye.” further, this college was established back in 2012, 12 years ago as of now. The chancellor and vice chancellor of this university are the governor of Rajasthan and Prof. Ramesh Chandra respectively. History of Maharaja Surajmal Brij University
This university was established back in 2012 by the government of Rajasthan through the Brij University Bharatpur Act 2012. K. D. Swami Was appointed as the founder Vice-Chancellor. The Brij University was renamed to Maharaja Suraj mal brij university under the Bharatpur (Change of Name) Act, 2014. After that, in 2016, K. D. Swami quit his post as vice-chancellor. In 2017, Ashwani Kumar Bansal was appointed Vice Chancellor in February 2017. Later R.K.S. Dhakarey replaced his position in 2020.
